Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Madufe, our certified helpers and our home services across Africa.
What is Madufe?
Madufe is a pan-African certified home-services platform. We connect families with helpers — nannies, housekeepers, cooks — who hold diplomas from recognised partner training schools.
Which countries is Madufe available in?
Madufe opens country by country, where the partner-school network exists. Verified helpers are already present in several West and Central African countries — see the Helpers page, filterable by country and city.
How do I book a helper?
Browse profiles on the Helpers page, check certifications and reviews, then click “Book”. Complete the 3-step form: service and date, your details, confirmation.
How much does a helper cost?
Each helper sets their hourly rate, shown on their profile in their country’s currency. Rates vary by service, experience and region. You see the price before booking — no surprises.
Are the helpers verified?
Yes. Before a profile is published, we check the ID document, the diploma or training certificate, and the link to a partner training centre. A profile that fails this check does not appear on Madufe.
How is Madufe different from a traditional agency?
An agency sends you someone. Madufe starts from the school: each helper holds a diploma from a partner training centre, their path is traceable and displayed, and you choose the person yourself from their profile, reviews and rate.
Are the displayed reviews reliable?
Only families who actually booked a service can leave a review. A profile’s rating therefore comes only from real missions, not anonymous reviews.
How do I become a helper on Madufe?
If you hold a diploma from a partner training centre in care or home services, create a helper account: you complete your profile, we verify your identity and diploma, then your profile becomes visible to families in your region.
